MMA (Methyl Methacrylate) is an emerging alternative to thermoplastic road marking, increasingly specified by contractors and local authorities. It is a two-part chemical compound — the two parts are mixed at the point of application, it sets hard and lasts approximately 10 years. Compared to thermoplastic, MMA has a lower carbon footprint as it does not require the same level of heat during application.
