Where We Work

We are based at Little Westerhill Farm near Maidstone in Kent, and we work outward from there. The honest picture is a dense core, a well-covered region, and genuine national mobilisation for programmes that justify it.

Each area has its own page: Kent, London, Essex and Sussex.

Kent

Kent is home. The yard is at Linton, a few minutes from Maidstone, which puts the M20, the M2 and the A20 within easy reach and the Channel ports at the end of them. We work across the county on concrete cutting, diamond drilling, joint sealing, floor sawing and port work at the Medway and Thames Estuary terminals.

London

London is our largest single concentration of work outside Kent, and it is not one working environment but dozens. Plant emissions rules, borough enforcement, low traffic neighbourhoods, conservation areas and airside boundaries all change from one postcode to the next. We have written up the districts where those constraints differ most, under concrete cutting in London.

Essex and the Thames Estuary

Essex is reached across the Dartford Crossing, and the work there is concentrated on the north bank of the Thames: the Freeport terminals at London Gateway and Tilbury, Stansted, and the A12 and A13 corridors. See diamond drilling in Essex.

Sussex and the wider South East

Sussex, Surrey and the rest of the South East are within normal working range from the yard, covering highway, airfield and commercial work. See concrete cutting in Sussex.

Nationwide

Longer programmes are mobilised UK wide. Airfield work in particular takes us well beyond the South East, because there are only so many contractors with airside experience and the airports are where they are. If you are outside the region and the programme is long enough to justify getting a crew and plant to it, ask.

Before you get in touch it is worth checking what we are assessed under: see our accreditations.
