For councils, highway authorities and public estates the work is usually maintenance against a specification: resealing concrete joints, overbanding cracks on adopted roads, renewing road markings, and laying high friction surfacing on junction approaches and crossings. Each has a governing document. Overbands on adopted highway must meet clause S6.8.8 of the Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways, high friction surfacing sits under Clause 924 of the Specification for Highway Works, and road markings are measured to BS EN 1436.

We hold SafeContractor and CHAS accreditation. Public infrastructure work on this site includes joint resealing on the M20 between junctions 8 and 9 and the expansion joints on the Lyminster bridge.

We are based at Little Westerhill Farm near Maidstone in Kent and work for councils, highway authorities and public estate clients across the South East and nationwide. Public sector work is bought against a specification and audited afterwards, so the records matter as much as the finish. We cover Kent, London, Sussex and Essex directly from the yard, and mobilise nationally for longer programmes.
