ArmourScreed (Asphalt Surface Repairs)

ArmourScreed is used to repair defects in asphalt surfaces. When a crack reaches the point where it can no longer simply be crack-chased or overbanded, for example where a section of surface has become an isolation point that could lift under load, it provides a structural repair rather than a surface seal.

In our experience, it works better than overbanding on failed asphalt because overbanding only bridges the defect, whereas ArmourScreed reinstates the surface so it carries load again. The area is cut out and cleaned back to a sound, dry base before the repair is laid, so the finished surface is fully bonded rather than sitting on a compromised section.
