Full Depth Concrete Cutting Full depth concrete cutting is a specialist technique used to cut completely through a concrete slab from surface to base. Unlike standard floor sawing which forms joints or break lines at a set depth, full depth cutting severs the entire thickness of the slab, used where a concrete bay has deteriorated beyond repair and needs to be removed and replaced entirely.

Shepherd & Sons carry out full depth concrete cutting on airfield pavements, highways, and industrial surfaces. Our diamond blade saws are capable of cutting to the full depth required, delivering clean, accurate cuts that allow damaged bays to be lifted without disturbing the surrounding slab. This is essential on airfield aprons and taxiways where precision and minimal disruption to adjacent panels is critical.
